What is KATASTASIS about …

KATASTASIS is an absolutely free webcomic.
This free webcomic tells the epic story of the three wars between angels and demons, the tale of the angel Lucifer, how he becomes Satan, and the fate of all the people and creatures around him. It is a graphic novel about glorious fights, massive battles, and epic wars in an ancient world of violence and darkness … it is a story about angels and demons, heroes and monsters, loyalty and betrayal.

An Angel is fighting against a horde of demons. The angel is slaughtering the foes wielding an exotic axe. The image is a teaser artwork to show an art sneak peak of KATASTASIS the epic, free Webcomic by Helge C. Balzer.

When will the journey of this webcomic begin …?

Who is the mind behind this free graphic novel project?

My name ist Helge C. Balzer. I have been a professional fantasy illustrator and concept artist for more than twenty years who worked on Warhammer / Warhammer 40k, Magic the Gathering, and many other projects. I worked for major clients as well as on the most eccentric indie projects – from all types of traditional board and card games, video games, and all the way to movie productions. And it is finally time to share my personal project KATASTASIS – epic, free webcomic – with you …

Why?

KATASTASIS is an absolutely free webcomic. I don’t want your money or your data. No tricks. I just want to tell you this story, and I hope you will enjoy it!

Here are some older teaser artworks I’ve done in the early stage of development … I will soon create a section on this website where to put all the concept and marketing art that will come up during the next months and years!
